From Last Weekend

The other weekend we went on a mini escapade to downtown San Diego. A friend recently told me about the children's museum and it sounded pretty cool so we decided we 'd check it out and I'm glad we did.

There were a lot of beautiful spaces and treehouse/playset type things that were beautifully made and decorated. Lots of activities including superhero drawing and making things with clay which I think I enjoyed more than anyone. There was also a sandbox with white sparkly sand with a black light in the room which was pretty special.

All in all a very cool place and the kids didn't want to leave.

We had dinner at the Fish Market with friends and then hung out a little bit in Sea Port Village after that.

 Good times!

  3. So while it's true that the people make an event (and the people definitely made any event!) this space definitely adds a different dimension to it. Went to Chicago event venues for evening event and I was really impressed.
